1. Efficiency v/s Effectiveness
  2. Know your time – Whatever needs to be managed needs to be measured first.
  3. Results not efforts – A man who focuses on his effort alone would be a subordinate no matter how exalted his rank is. You should focus on contribution instead.
  4. Making strength productive – We cannot build on weaknesses, otherwise we will only have strong weaknesses. Instead we need to make our strengths stronger to make the weaknesses irrelevant.
  5. First things first – Make sure that you focus on the most important things first by concentrating. Concentration is the courage to impose on time and events your own decision as to what really matters and comes first.
  6. The elements of decision-making – We need to have systems in place so that we do not need to make a lot of decisions. Only the important few.
