The traditional view is that you need resources to grow a business. That you need expertise in the area and that you need to have a lot of money. However, as per Mike Michalowicz, the opposite is true. When we don’t have all these things available to us, it forces us to approach the industry in a radically different way. You are forced to be innovative. Lack of resources is not a bad thing. Necessity is the mother of invention. When we have resources, the default response is to follow the established path and do incremental improvements.
